As standard, our stabilizers are equipped with 1/4-20 UNC threads for weights. Optionally, the upgrade to 5/16-14 UNF is available. In this case, the thread is additionally reinforced with a wire thread insert to withstand even greater forces. The option may lead to additional delivery time.

Our Stiffness Control System allows modification of the flexural rigidity of the stabilizer by varying the inner tube diameter over the length. SCS

We have developed a high-end stabilizer that is suitable for all bow classes and weights. For this purpose, the TERRA stabilizer is available in four SCS levels, 16-00, 16-100, with increasing stiffness (short stabilizers only in 16-00 and 16-100). The carbon tube has a greater wall thickness at the rear end and transitions to a larger inner diameter and thus less wall thickness at a defined point. The closer the transition point is to the front end, the higher the effective, static stiffness.

Rocket Science

The carbon tubes of the TERRA stabilizer are manufactured using a high-precision, cylindrical prepreg winding process. Unidirectional fibers are combined with a glass-skrim binding for high flexural rigidity and a carbon fabric structure at the surface. The result is a light and at the same time highly stiff tube. Thus, the TERRA stabilizers achieve a very low mass and are therefore among the lightest high-end stabilizers on the market. In addition, a small outer diameter of only 16 mm is made possible, which minimizes the surface area exposed to the wind.

Due to the low weight, more weight elements can be mounted at the end of the stabilizer to increase the moment of inertia and to configure the damping individually without increasing the overall system weight compared to over stabilizers.

For the TERRA stabilizer system we have developed very thin-walled and continuously tapering bushings made of high-strength aluminum. This construction reduces stress peaks at the transition from the bushing to the carbon tube. This achieves an optimal frictional connection between the bow and stabilizer, which leads to a better transmission of the vibrations into the carbon tube.

For the analysis, we used a high-precision 3-axis structure-borne noise sensor to resolve the vibrations in the x, y, and z directions. The carbon tube and the design of the bushings were optimized on the basis of this data in order to achieve high damping properties.

The TERRA stabilizer is equipped with a completely newly developed weight system for maximum modularity and stability.

The archery standard 1/4 UNC is used as the basic thread for the weight system. A 5/16 UNF thread can also be manufactured optionally. This makes the stabilizer compatible with all weight and damper systems.

The weights are pushed onto the appropriate thread spacer and thus centered. A knurled top weight with thread fixes the system. Thanks to the knurling of the top weight, the system can also be tightened or loosened without additional tools. Each top weight is equipped with a rubber shim, which prevents loosening due to vibration. In addition, the set screw is fixed in the stabilizer bushing with a small clamping screw.

If there is not enough space to add more weights, it is not necessary to buy a new set screw. The 16mm and 24mm threaded spacer can be used to extend the set screws.
